Governance

Ownership only means something if governance is real.

Federation governance is the mechanism that keeps Hareli a women-owned institution rather than a women-branded one. This page states our governance principles plainly; formal filings and audited statements are added here as the institution is registered and its first audit cycle completes.

How decisions are made

Governance follows the federation's own layers.

Village level

Self-help groups and producer groups elect their own representatives and manage local accounts.

Federation level

Elected women's leadership sets policy, budgets, quality standards and enterprise decisions across villages.

Trustee & advisory oversight

A founder's office and independent advisers provide fiduciary oversight, professional management and donor accountability during the institution-building phase.

Our commitments

Financial transparency, stated plainly.

Every partner has the right to know where funds go and what they produced. As Hareli's registration, statutory filings and first independent audit are completed, they will be published here — not summarised, not paraphrased.

  • Programme-directed gifts are tracked and reported against the phase and vertical they funded.
  • Capital partners receive independent reporting, not self-reported summaries.
  • Site visits with federation leaders are available to any partner on request.
Filings & reports

Documents, published as they are finalised.

Registration & statutory status

Pending — added on completion of registration.

Annual report

Pending — first cycle to be published after year one.

Independent audit

Pending — added after the first audit cycle.

This section is written honestly for an institution in its founding phase — nothing above is invented. Contact the founder's office for current registration status and interim financial information.
